Show Off Your Ice Skating Skills at Poway Winterfest

Poway Winterfest—perhaps your only chance to ice skate outdoors here all year—starts this Friday at Poway Community Park.
The two-day event at the park—13094 Civic Center Dr.—offers many activities for families: ice skating, arts and crafts, music, sledding and karaoke.

- Friday, Dec. 14: 4 to 9 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 15: 1 to 9 p.m.
Cost

- Ages 2-17=$5; Ages 18 and up=$7; Family of four=$20.
- Skate rental is included, or you can bring your own. Skaters will need to sign a waiver (minors need to have one signed by a parent or guardian).
- Refreshments can be purchased.
