RB Pageants, Taste of Poway and Fish-Off Reels in Weekend Events

If you finished filing your taxes this week, that is one reason to get out and celebrate a stress-free weekend. 

Another reason is North County will be jam-packed with a plethora of fun.

POWAY FISH-OFF

• What's Up: On you mark, get set, fish! The tournament will feature a fish-off with awards for the largest Trout, Bass, Catfish and mixed bag.  Lake Poway will stock 1,500 pounds of Tailwalking Rainbow. All ages are welcome.
• When: 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. 
• Where: Lake Poway, 14644 Lake Poway Rd, Poway.
• Price: $8-$16. 

NATURE SCAVENGER HUNT

• What's Up: Bring the kids, explore nature and go on a hunt through the Blue Sky Ecological Reserve. 
• When: 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 20. 
• Where: Blue Sky Ecological Reserve, 16275 Espola Rd, Poway. 
• Price: Free. 

MOJALET DANCE COLLECTIVE PRESENTS 'HOOKED ON CLASSICS'

• What's Up: The modern dance company will showcase their talents in the performance called, 'Hooked on Classics.'
• When: 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 21. 
• Where: The Vine Theater, Bernardo Winery 13330 Paseo Del Verano Norte, Rancho Bernardo.
• Price: $16-$21.

TASTE OF POWAY

• What's Up: Twin Peaks Foundation will host a fundraiser and feature local restaurants. Proceeds will benefit Twin Peaks Middle School.
• When: 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. 
• Where: Bernardo Winery, 13330 Paseo Del Verano Norte, Rancho Bernardo.
• Price: $35-$45.

MISS RANCHO BERNARDO AND MISS RANCHO BERNARDO TEEN PAGEANT

• What's Up: See who will where the crown and be titled Miss Rancho Bernardo and Miss Rancho Bernardo Teen. The competion will include a personal interview, impromptu question, poise and personality, business and/or evening attire and timed speech.
• When: 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.
• Where:  Rancho Bernardo Inn 17550 Bernardo Oaks Dr, Rancho Bernardo.
