Prime Poway Woman No. 14: Sharon Struck

Struck is a student services specialist for the Poway Unified School District.

For almost 24 years, Sharon Struck has contributed to Poway.

A student services specialist for the Poway Unified School District, Struck is involved in support groups at and . She’s also served as board president for the Safety Wellness Advocacy Community Coalition, and is a member of the California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors and the Community Emergency Response Team.

Struck said she found success by looking for role models and advises other women to do the same.

“My advice would be to find a network of women to whom you can look for guidance,” she said. “I've been extremely fortunate to know so many amazing women, both personally and professionally, who have taught me about love, laughter, character and generosity.”
