2. Pomerado Road will be closed to all traffic in both directions in a one block segment between Poway Road and Oak Knoll Road between the approximate times of 6:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. A suggested alternate route is to proceed west on Poway Road one block to Oak Knoll Road to get around the one block closure.

3. Poway Road will be closed to all traffic between Pomerado Road & Community Road beginning at 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. for the 5K event, then will open from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. to allow parade spectators in. Poway Road will close again from 8:45 a.m. until the conclusion of the parade, estimated to be at approximately 12 p.m. The suggested alternate route around the area is to use Twin Peaks Road (to the north), which will be marked with detour signs along the route. Another alternative is Scripps Poway Parkway (to the south).
