“As far as a woman I look up to, I would definitely highlight my mother. She has always provided guidance, care and love to our family and has always been supportive of our efforts. Her own personal sacrifices, love for family and kindness to others have made me the person I am today.”

What does Women’s History Month mean to you?

“Women’s History Month provides me time to reflect and pay tribute to the generations of women whose contributions and achievements have changed America. These women had the intelligence and tenacity to make a difference and their vision and determination helped open the doors to higher education for women—and for that, I am grateful.”
