Get Away with a Workout Escapade

Try a new workout routine to get you away from the family life for an hour, or more, a week.

Getting into a workout routine can often be difficult for the overactive mom. Between dishes, carpools, shopping it can be tricky to find the time just for yourself. It is necessary, however, for the foundation of the household to regenerate in a positive way with your mind and body.

This week, we’re giving your a wonderful location to start a workout escapade. Bring friends or fly solo, just make sure you’re enjoying your heart healthy time to yourself. No babies or kiddos allowed, they’ll be just fine until you come back home, hopefully sweaty and smiling.

Try . Breathe is specifically tailored to women including a sensitive and encouraging atmosphere with an array of exercise machines offered. Tone up with weight lifting, jog with a tread mill, or take a class to get your blood pumping. Classes are offered seven days a week and are styled for the “Body Pump,” “Body Flow,” “Body Combat,” Yoga, Zumba (Brazilian Dance), RPM, and Boot Camps. The Body Pump class “challenges” all aspects of the body with a 60-minute squat, press, lift, and curl routine to music. Body Flow integrates Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates where the RPM is indoor cycling. Body Combat integrates cardio and martial arts and Zumba is a calorie-burning dance routine which will keep you moving. Breathe also offers Gravity Training and Personal Training, as well as a unique amount of state-of-the-art fitness tools, a spa, and a nutrition center including a juice bar, weight loss and supplement options.

Bob Greene, Oprah’s trainer who is also an author and fitness expert, emphasized when speaking to fitbottomedgirls.com that the goal is really about realistic expectations. Try to eat right and healthy. When you can, workout at least once and hopefully up to three times a week.

It will be the best escape you treat yourself to and can be something that you make a weekly ritual. Here’s to you- mama.
