Food Trucks, Crime Prevention and Kid's Night Highlights Weekend Events

You made it to the weekend, now what? Patch has you covered for weekend events happening all over North County.

FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL

  • What's Up: 10 gourmet food trucks will make a pit stop in 4S Ranch. The festival will include food, art, crafts, kids zone, and more!
  • When: 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 16.
  • Where: Maranatha Chapel Parking Lot, 10752 Coastwood Rd, 4S Ranch.

CRIME PREVENTION FORUM

  • What's Up: Do you want to learn how to prevent crime in your daily life and in your home? Crime Prevention Specialist, Darlene Duncan will discuss crime prevention and ways to reduce crime.
  • When: 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16. 
  • Where: St. Bart's Church, 16275 Pomerado Rd, Poway.

MEDICINAL AND EDIBLE PLANTS

  • What's Up: Learn what plants are edible and good for medicinal purposes. Docent Kathy Reading will lead you through the reserve and discover new ways to use plants!
  • When: 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16. 
  • Where: Blue Sky Ecological Reserve, 16275 Espola Rd, Poway.
  • Price: Free. 

THE CAPITOL STEPS

  • What's Up: Musical group, The Capitol Steps will sing and act politically themed parodies. 
  • When: 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16.

KID'S NIGHT OUT
