Canceled: Charity Softball Game Called Off Due to Rain

The game had been scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Poway.

Update 11:49 p.m. The game was canceled late Friday due to the ongoing heavy rain. 

Organizers of a charity softball game in Poway on Saturday are asking attendees to bring chairs and umbrellas in case it rains.

The Operation for HOPE Foundation is hosting the game, featuring celebrity athletes, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Poway in support of domestic violence victims. The game will go on despite the rain, organizers say.
