Poway Earth Day Festival

As the weather warms, the Poway Chamber of Commerce plans for their Annual Earth Day Festival, the perfect way to enjoy a beautiful day in Poway.  The festival will host a variety of vendors with a large focus on green products, the environment, and the Poway community.  This family-friendly event will be held on Midland Rd. between Poway Rd. and Hilleary Pl. from 10am-5pm on Sunday, April 10th.    “Poway’s Earth Day Festival is a great way to spend a Sunday enjoying Poway and discovering local businesses and non-profits who contribute to the quality of life throughout our local San Diego region” says Luanne Hulsizer, Poway Chamber President & CEO.

The main stage will feature music from bands Calima (performing from 1:30pm-3:30pm) and Kanan Road (performing from 11:30am-1:30pm) as well as an educational presentation from the San Diego Zoo’s Dr. Zoolittle at 11am.  The kids’ area will include activities from organizations such as Home Depot, Signature Dance Academy, the City of Poway, The San Diego Zoo, and Project Wildlife.
