Free Initial Drug Testing.

McAlister’s North Rural Teen Recovery Center is now offering our community a free drug screening for adolescents in the Ramona community and surrounding areas. Our drugs test will screen for the following substances: Cocaine Marijuana, Opiates/Morphine, Amphetamine, Ecstasy, Phencyclidine (PCP), Benzodiazepine, Barbiturates, Methadone, Oxycodone

 The Teen Recovery Center is an outpatient treatment and recovery program designed specifically for adolescents ages 12 to 17.

McAlister North Rural Teen Recover Center provides individual outpatient treatment that consists of:

·         Alcohol and Drug abuse counseling

·         Group Counseling

·         Education and Outreach

·         Drug Testing

·         Informational Referrals

·         Mental Health Services  

Why should I have my child tested?

In terms of substances used recently or ever, around three-quarters or more of juveniles in 2012 reported trying marijuana, alcohol, or tobacco previously (starting around the age of 13years old, on average) and more than half (52-54 percent) had used each of these substances during the past 30 days. Between 8 and 34 percent of the youth also reported ever trying other substances, including ecstasy, meth, cocaine, crack, and heroin.
