Poway High is hosting an e-waste recycling event on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event — which is being sponsored by Poway High School Robotics Team, IMS Recycling, and Sony Electronics Inc. — will also serve as fundraiser for the school.
IMS Recycling will donate 100 percent of the reimbursement for collection, which they receive from the state of California, to the schools proposed by the donors – including Poway High.
Powegians can recycle any electronic materials.
