Old School New York pizzeria celebrates its 5th year in business with the grand opening of a new store in 4S Ranch.
On Saturday, May 5th, Flippin’ Pizza will open its doors to their newest San Diego location in the community of 4S Ranch. To celebrate, Flippin’ Pizza will be offering free slices to attendees from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
The grand opening comes just in time for Flippin’ Pizza to celebrate their 5 year anniversary, and Flippin’ Pizza has plenty to celebrate. Along with serving delicious pies for 5 years, the anniversary marks 5 years of throwing dough back to the San Diego community. A socially responsible company, Flippin’ Pizza has formalized fundraising partnerships with regional schools, educational and recreational programs, sports teams, and various foundations, such as the Tony Hawk Foundation. Since 2007, Flippin’ Pizza has donated $293,000 in food and cash donations. The program includes restaurant dine-out nights, off-site events with the Flippin’ Truck or pop-up tents, and fundraising gift cards. Flippin’ Pizza plans to host multiple community building dine out nights in the surrounding 4S Ranch community - giving 50% back to the organization.
The new location makes Flippin’ Pizza’s high-quality pies, Calzones and chopped salads even more accessible to San Diego residents. The 4S Ranch restaurant will be the sixth Flippin’ Pizza to open in San Diego. Flippin’ Pizza currently has San Diego locations in Carlsbad “Knockout,” Encinitas, La Costa, Vista, and San Marcos.

The grand opening event is on Saturday, May 5th at Flippin’ Pizza 4S Ranch, located at 16615 Dove Canyon Road, San Diego, 92127. A free slice for those who attend will be available from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Jazz Band from Oak Valley Middle School will be providing entertainment and members of the community are invited to come for a Flippin’ good time.
