Whoa, oh! We're Halfway There
- The Rotary Club of Poway-Scripps is more than half way to its goal of raising $30,000 to cover expenses for the 49th Poway Days Parade and 5K, which is set for Saturday, Sept. 7. Want to donate? Click the link above to find out how.
- Are you a parent of a teen driver? The Start Smart Program is hosted by the San Diego County Sheriff's Department and will offer a two class for new teen drivers and their parents or guardians. The class will discuss consequences of distracted or impaired driving, collision prevention, teen drinking and driving and more. Start Smart will start at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15 at Poway High School. Registration is required online.

- Kids can get creative with free craft time today at the library. Head over to the Poway Library at 1 p.m. for imaginative crafts. This activity is for kids 6-11.
