Nosh Your Heart Out at Jewish Food Festival

The third annual Jewish Food Festival will be held in Poway on April 22.

Ready to nosh on what could arguably be some of the best food in town?

The is this weekend in Poway. Temple Adat Shalom is hosting the tasty event on Sunday, which will feature traditional Jewish cuisine, like bagels, lox, knishes, kugels and more.

Numerous food booths will provide tastings of the good eats, just a small size to try out and if you like it, you can buy more! There will be a wide assortment of deli delights from two delicatessens and bakeries at the festival. And for the cooks and chefs in the community? There will be a live celebrity chef demo stage showing you how they prepare their favorites. Click here to see participating celeb chefs.

You can bring the whole family to this event, as there will be live music by talented singers and musicians in Southern California performing a variety of traditional and contemporary Jewish music, and activities for kids of all ages. Attendees can also shop around at the various vendor booths, like jewelry and judaica, crafts and linens, photography services and resources for Bar/Bat mitzvah and wedding party planning.

Ready to get your nosh on? The foodie fun is April 22 at here in Poway. The eating starts at 11 a.m. and finishes at 7 p.m.

Admission to the Jewish Food Festival is free with the advance purchase of a Nosh Card (what you will use to buy your tastings) or $3 at the gate. Food booths won’t accept cash, so purchase your Nosh Cards ($10) in advance online here. You can purchase advance tickets through midnight on April 21. Nosh Cards will also be available at the event.
